| Dr Nikki Maran | | | Dr Nikki Maran, is a Consultant Anaesthetist at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh & is also director of the Scottish Clinical Simulation Centre in Stirling. The Scottish Clinical Simulation Centre is home to Scotland's only high fidelity human patient simulator and is involved in delivery of acute care training for doctors, dentists, nurses and other AHPs. Dr Maran has a particular interest in behavioral aspects of performance & assessment in simulation. | | Dr Jean Ker | | | Dr Jean Ker is director of the Clinical Skills Centre, Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, chair of the Scottish Clinical Skills Network, and an Honorary Consultant in Primary Care Medicine, NHS Tayside. Dr Ker has particular interests in assessment professionalism, clinical skills training & the promotion of collaborative networks throughout Scotland in relation to skills training for health professionals. | | Dr Jan Shaw | | | Dr Jan Shaw is the director for the Patient Safety Training Course at Central Manchester NHS Trust, and a Consultant Anaesthetist. As a Royal College of Anaesthetists Examiner Dr Shaw has integrated simulation as part of the Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists Examination system. Dr Shaw has a particular interest in human factors, system failures & the implementation of patient safety training. | | Dr Arpan Guha | | | Dr Arpan Guha is director of the Cheshire & Mersey Patient Simulator Centre, University Hospital Aintree, Liverpool & a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Neuro-intensive Care. Dr Guha is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer, School of Medical Education, University of Liverpool. Dr Guha has a particular interest in Team Resource Management training that can modify behaviour when confronted with real clinical emergencies that is also retained during routine clinical practice. | | |
